Thomas Zeichman is a partner at Beighley, Myrick, Udell, Lynne + Zeichman, P.A. who focuses his practice on the representation of debtors, creditors, and trustees in the various aspects of bankruptcy. In restructuring and other bankruptcy matters, Thomas has experience representing purchasers and sellers of distressed assets through bankruptcy, receiverships, and assignments for the benefit of creditors. Additionally, Thomas has represented creditors and bankruptcy trustees pursing assets of debtors. This experience is valuable when Thomas advises debtors on how to defend against creditor attacks. Thomas is rated AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in bankruptcy.
Thomas advises clients in business law and complex commercial litigation. In commercial litigation matters, Mr. Zeichman has achieved several seven-figure results for clients. Mr. Zeichman’s litigation experience includes business disputes, employment litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and trademark litigation. Additionally, Mr. Zeichman has tried cases at the federal and state level, including jury trials.
Mr. Zeichman received his law degree summa cum laude from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and was a member of the Nova Law Review. During law school, Mr. Zeichman served as a research assistant which led to published articles in the areas of bankruptcy law, secured transactions and the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), and contract law. Mr. Zeichman received his Bachelor of Arts from the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University. Before and during law school, Mr. Zeichman served as a consultant for federal and state candidates for elected office where he provided advice regarding campaign messaging, debate preparation, and fundraising.
Mr. Zeichman is a Palm Beach County native, resides in Boca Raton, and is the proud father of two daughters. In his spare time, Thomas is active in the community through his involvement on the Planning and Zoning Board for the City of Boca Raton and as Vice-Chair for the Florida Atlantic University Alumni Association.
